Montessor Colori Beads for Counting and Early Math

Max and I have been exploring various activities to help him learn how to count and understand numbers using the Montessori Color Beads and Golden Beads Pack. Since August, Max has shown a keen interest in counting and letter sounds, so we have been working on numerous counting activities to support his interest.

I introduced him to the Montessori Colored Beads, a unique way of representing quantities. Each bead bar represents a distinct color and helps a child recognize the quantity associated with that color. As Max progresses, he can use the beads independently to learn fundamental mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This material is used in both Primary and Lower Elementary levels.

Memory Games for Kids

Have you played a memory game? It's a classic game of matching pictures. My toddler (3 years old) enjoys playing it and keeps asking for "more" themes. Unfortunately, we only have one set of memory games suitable for his age (transportation game). I tried looking for more sets, but I can't find something right for kids around two years..., so I made my boy tons of sets so we can play it all year round!
