Toddler Activity Trays (34 Months)

We are doing seasonal activities this week (autumn) so our activity trays, which are mostly for enhancement of fine motor skills are focused on shapes.  Below are the 6 shape activities for Vito.  Most of these are homemade and easy to setup.

From top right to lower left:

1. Matching button shapes and patterns
2. Creating shapes using pegs
3. Matching 3D shapes with their 2D shape sides
4. Grading shapes according to sizes. Homemade using foam sheets.
5. Forming shapes using stickers. The line serves as a guide and will help the child for hand-eye coordination.
6. Re-creating the shapes in the card using Geomags (Note that for this material adult supervision is required due to the presence of small objects that can be accidentally swallowed).
