Polar Themed Activity Trays for 19 Young Toddlers

Maxi is 19 months old
Theme: Polar Theme Activities

I'm starting to give Max thematic activities on a monthly basis.  Simple and easy to prepare activities so I can just whip it any time even when I'm busy. For January, we're doing "polar" activities, and my objectives are:

• familiar with polar bears, reindeer, walrus and penguins
• learn the colors black and white
• practice fine motor skills 

Activities I prepared for him are:

👉PENGUIN BLACK WHITE SORTING. Used the penguins from Learning Resources Penguin Math Set and bowls from here.

👉SORTING BLACK AND WHITE BUTTONS of Quercetti Fantacolor Junior Edition. I printed the black paper on the board.

👉BLACK AND WHITE (POLAR BEAR) BEAR dab and dot activity using homemade black playdough.

👉BLACK WHITE SENSORY BIN using black beans and cups/pegs from Ulanik Montessori

👉ANIMAL FIGURES AND MATCHING  PICTURES. For vocabulary

👉WHITE PAINT ON BLACK PAPER.
