What I like about homeschooling is being able to make themed materials for my kids that will go along with certain seasons or holidays. Because Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I made these beautiful and cute teddy and heart letter and number cards perfect for home and school settings. We use these types of learning cards in so many ways, and I have listed a few of those activities below for your reference. Enjoy!

MATCHING UPPERCASE AND LOWERCASE LETTERS
Use these cards to match uppercase letters to their matching lowercase letters. A great activity for learning and practicing letter recognition.
BEGINNING LETTER SOUNDS AND OBJECTS
Use these letter cards to match your objects or toys with their beginning letter sound.
GUIDE FOR WRITING LETTERS AND NUMBERS
Use the letter and number cards as guides for writing in sand tray or rice tray or any sensorial material you used for writing. The tray that we are using here is reused from Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace Activity Set.
DOUGH MATS FOR FORMING LETTERS
Form letters using playdough with the letter or number cards as mats. Alternatively, you can use these as tracing cards! Use dry erase markers or liquid chalk pens to trace the letters and numbers.
CARDS AND COUNTERS
Use the number cards for your “cards and counters" activities. Or you can order the number cards from 1-20 with your child!
