The Many Ways we Use Sarah's Silks

Tuesday, May 7, 2019

Sarah's Silks has been one of our "must haves" for years.  I've been seeing them everywhere from Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and even my fellow homeschooling mom friends have been using them for years too.  Thus, I was totally excited when Sarah sent me an entire collection of her Enchanted Playsilks for the boys to use and play!  When it finally arrived, the boys immediately used them for hours of play and have been one of their most used "toys" since then.

Ways we Use Sarah's Silks
Without much further ado, here are the many ways we use Sarah's Silks at home and outdoors:

SARAH'S SILKS AS LANDSCAPES FOR IMAGINATIVE PLAY

We love using them for our imaginative play!  Below is a photo of Vito using it for his Space world with Playmobil and Lego Creator Space Shuttle toys.  The Starry Night Enchanted Playsilk is perfect for creating a "space world" for the little ones who are obsessed with planets, rocket ships, space stations, astronauts, and all!  This is so beautiful with vibrant blue color and sparkly stars that really stand out!

On the other hand, my oldest loves the other playsilks that have blended colors such as the Rainbow, Sea, and Fire.  Here he is using the Sea Enchanted Playsilks to set up his "ocean world" using Schleich animal figures, Safari Toob animal figures, and Grimm's Wooden Toys.  I love the selection of colors used in this one!  It truly looks like a sea with all these animals!

SARAH'S SILKS USED FOR MAGIC

Vito would use them to perform his "magic" tricks on me.

SARAH'S SILKS AS CAPE FOR AN ASPIRING LEARNER

One of the favorite things that Vito loves to do with the silk is putting them on as a cape.  Sometimes he wears it to become a wizard or at times to become a superhero.  The silks are perfect for dress-up or costume plays!

SARAH'S SILK AS A TRAVEL BUDDY (BLANKET IN THE AIR)

The boys each packed a playsilk during our trip to Spain.  They used them as blankets while up in the air, and again Vito couldn't resist wearing his as a cape.

SARAH'S SILKS AS SUN CATCHERS

Now that it's bright and sunny, the playsilks are used as sun catchers!  I love how they looked!

We received all sets of Enchanted Playsilks from Sarah for a review and what can I say?  These silks are highly recommended!!!  Back then I already knew that these are great materials, and I couldn't agree more to all those reviews, the silks are indeed beautiful, have stunning colors, they don't fade no matter how we expose them to light (and sun), very soft and comforting, and has vibrant colors.

And there are tons of other silks that you can choose from.  Visit Sarah's Silks website for more playsilks and ideas.

DISCLOSURE:  I received this set from Sarah's Silks in exchange for a honest review.  Any opinions expressed here are my own.
