Counting Eyeballs
I found these silly glow in the dark rubber eyeballs in Amazon and the boys love using them in decorating their playdough. So I decided to use them as a manipulatives in our homeschool this October. The concept is basically the same for our Fall Leaves and Apple Tree counting activities. I added playdough in the counting mats so our eyeballs won't roll.If these balls aren’t available in your area, googly eyes will also do as well! Or if you are saving printer ink, a black and white version is included and use any manipulatives available.

Bubbles in the Cauldron
If your kids are into playdough, then this bubbles counting activity is for them. We rolled tiny green playdough as our “bubbles” and used them as counters for our mats.If you are interested in this Bubble Counting activity, click here or the image below.
These playdough mats are fantastic in spicing up counting activities for kids and help them develop fine motor skills as well. The different themes and designs encourages kids to “design” their own counting mats thus reinforcing their creativity.
