Today I'm sharing our collection of St. Patrick's Day math activities that you can try with your kids in school or in a homeschool setting.  Aside from learning how to recognize numbers, how to count, and 1:1 correspondence, your child will get to enhance their fine motor skills with these fun and engaging math printable materials!

# St. Patrick's Day Themed Dough Counting Mats

This series of counting mats was originally designed for counting using playdough.  The kids will provide the count that is being asked in each sheet.  So in this example, it's the rainbow stripes on a pot of gold.  Using playdough, we formed and created the colorful stripes to achieve the count and be able to create the beautiful counting mats.

Along the way, we got creative and used some counters as well.

Whatever you choose, your kids will surely enjoy these learning materials!  You can get these beautiful materials here and here or just click the images below.

# St. Patrick's Day Themed Counting Clipcards

I made these when Vito was around 3 years old.  A great tool for counting, 1:1 correspondence, and using pegs for marking the matching number symbol will enhance the child's pincer grasp which is a very important skill in writing.

# St. Patrick's Day Themed Ten Frames

I love our ten frames! A lot of opportunity to count and write numbers in these beautiful ten frame sheets.  A sample is the tracing sheet wherein the child will count the number of subjects or objects in the picture, trace the number symbol and word, then represent that count in the ten frames using manipulatives.  We love using glass gems because they're versatile and sometimes we use playdoughs too!
