Learning the Regions of Europe

Many years ago, Mavi and I worked on regions of Europe by sorting out country flags and maps according to their regions. Many have asked for this activity, so I am finally publishing our materials. 

 

What will you get?

This packet contains learning materials that will introduce your kids to the four regions of Europe and the countries covered by each region.  Below are the materials included in this set to aid your learning.

• Regions of Europe A4 page-sized maps
• Regions of Europe Montessori 3 part cards in red border and no border versions
• 4 regions of Europe mini cards for the presentation
• 28 country photo cards of landmarks for presentation and sorting activity (colour-coded)
• 28 country flags for presentation and sorting activity (colour-coded)
• 28 country maps for presentation and sorting activity (colour-coded)

How to use:

Whether you want to use this as a presentation material or for a sorting activity, there are three ways to use this material:  sort the cards in regions according to countries represented by the popular landmarks, sort the cards in regions according to the country flags, sort the cards in regions based on the country map locations.
