As we continue our Sound and Music Unit, I also introduced the different musical instruments. Of course, it would be best if we have all of these (LOL) or least own one, but since we don’t these beautiful musical figures from Safari Toob will do.
While I was presenting the figures, I was surprised that he seem to know how some of these instruments work! Look at how he’s pretending to blow the trumpet! We pause everytime he demonstrated how each instrument works, it was pretty amazing.
Once we name and identify the materials, he matched the figures to the cards, and matched the picture cards to the control cards as well.
I know he should only work on a few cards but he knows the number and kept on saying more until all the figures are matched!
This matching activity has been routine already and he loves it! It seems that he can pretty much work through the figures breezily. More sound activities coming up, so stay tuned!
