Below are some of the ways you can use our cards.
MATCHING UPPERCASE AND LOWERCASE LETTERS
Use these cards to match uppercase letters to their matching lowercase letters. A great activity for learning and practicing letter recognition.
BEGINNING LETTER SOUNDS AND OBJECTS
Use these letter cards to match your objects or toys' beginning letter sounds. The toy animals that we used here are from Schleich.
GUIDE FOR WRITING LETTERS AND NUMBERS
Use the letter and number cards as guides for writing in a sand tray, rice tray, or any sensorial material you use. The tray here is reused from Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace Activity Set.
APPLE THEMED MOVEABLE ALPHABET
Print the letter cards to form words.
DOUGH MATS FOR FORMING LETTERS
Form letters using playdough with the letter or number cards as mats. Alternatively, you can use these as tracing cards! Use dry-erase markers or liquid chalk pens to trace the letters and numbers.
CARDS AND COUNTERS
Use the number cards for your "cards and counters" activities. Or you can order the number cards from 1-20 with your child!
You can use any counters you like. We use the 1-inch blocks from Learning Resources (purchased from Amazon).
COMPARING NUMBERS
We used our Montessori arithmetic signs with our apple number cards to compare numbers (greater or lesser than).
