Foods in Europe Montessori Learning Packet

Tuesday, April 25, 2023

I have finally updated my European Foods learning set, first published around 2013. My first publication is limited to 15 foods, with just the Montessori 3-part cards and information cards. Now I featured more foods and added activity sheets for older kids!

This material is a perfect add-on to your Europe continent study. Traditional foods are always linked to customs, indigenous cultures, and territory, so this is an interesting subject for kids when doing social studies.

Memory Games for Kids

Saturday, April 22, 2023

Have you played a memory game? It's a classic game of matching pictures. My toddler (3 years old) enjoys playing it and keeps asking for "more" themes. Friday, September 23, 2022

Apologies for not being able to update that much here in my blog. If you've been missing us, I am very active on my Instagram account, and you will see videos of Max there too. Anyway, I'm doing a toy rotation this week. These activity trays have been on our shelf since the end of August. so obviously, I'm not doing a weekly toy rotation because I wanted Max to exhaust the use of materials before changing into a new set of themes.

Playdough Mats - Fun Play and a Lifetime Access!

Friday, April 22, 2022

Do you love playdough mats? We are obviously big fans of playdough and the DIY picture mats that go along with it! Through the years of making these playdough mats for my kids (incorporated in my thematic units), I have been receiving requests from followers to produce a "just the mats" printable file. So I finally gave in to the requests and created a LIFETIME ACCESS to our playdough mats collection.

Playdough mats are so much fun!! Use these for hands-on learning and for your fine motor skills activities. Roll, cut and form the pictures on the mats using playdough and trace the words for your vocabulary skills. Use these in any of your center and thematic activities.
